Pierre Vallet CognacHistory
The adventure of Pierre Vallet Cognac began in 2010, the day when Michel and Catherine Vallet, strengthened by their own experience, offered Laurent and Elodie Vallet the possibility of creating their own brand with their own blends.
With more than ten years of experience and filled with family values, Laurent has learned how to find the balance between tradition and modern times.
Owning certain stocks of cognacs, acquired notably thanks to his own vineyards in the lands of Champagne, Laurent, helped by his wife, Elodie, has wanted to create a more modern range with cognacs of a fl oral, fruity bouquet, presenting a strength and delicacy that is characteristic of this sixth generation of the Vallet family.
Then, still needing to fi nd a name for this new range of cognacs, Laurent and Elodie wanted to pay tribute to all of this expertise that has been handed down from father to son over six generations. Thus it is that by drawing from the family history, Laurent chose his great-great grandfather, Pierre Vallet, who knew the unfortunate time of the phylloxera epidemic and who had to redouble his efforts to build up the family vineyard again. By choosing his name, Laurent and Elodie wanted to show their gratitude for the road travelled and the work accomplished.
This is the story that they have chosen to share with you today…
